Re: Two dead cylinders on a 59ab

Plug wiring order is correct, easy to tell since i'm using a crab distributor. I ran a borescope down the intake but with the 90 degree turn, I could not get far enough down to see any blockage. I'm...

Re: coil for 59ab with a crab distributor 6V pos.

This makes sense, 1.5 ohms for 6V and 3 ohms for 12V. Thanks for the info.

coil for 59ab with a crab distributor 6V pos.

Been getting mixed answers on what coil to use on a 59ab 6V pos, with a crab distributor. The car, a 35 Ford, with a 6V 59AB has the original under dash ballast resistor for the old style coil, so I...

Re: Roof "ballooning" while open trailering (!!)

I would not tow a car with a car cover. There has been lots of discussion here on that topic.

Re: mitchel overdrive for 40 four door

Put one in a 39 Std Coupe and no mod of the floor was needed. Used the cable shift and it worked great. You may ask Steve Mitchell for the length from the front of the gearbox to the banjo and...

Re: What's needed to install a 24 stud into an earlier 21 stud car

Mike one thing you may want to consider down the road, since you are a 39, 40 guy, is to replace the 36 steering box with a 39 box. I did this on my 35 and it's like having power steering. You will...
