This is a great loss to our hobby. As hard a decision as it must have been, good for you both for focusing on what is most important for you Jeff and Debbie. Thank you.

Jeff, Debbie, and Walt, It is just now, while looking at the Ford Barn forum did I learn of your closing. I hadn't heard about it from our GWC Chapter and it was a sad surprise. I want to thank you for the fine service I received and the dedication all of you gave. Dave

THANK YOU for the years of service to our hobby. Best of Luck with your new direction, stop and smell the roses; we all need to drive in the slow lane from time to time.

We in the Model A hobby are very fortunate to be able to buy many of the parts for our cars. This will not always be true. As time marches on the cost of making stuff goes up as the demand goes down. Please support our vendors.

Bratton's has been my 1st choice supplier for over 30 years,
hate to see them closing but understand and wish them well.

Their catalog has been a great information source, as in "what's the correct name of that part?" I will keep it handy for reference!

Their online catalog is a great source of info also from correct fastener sizes to assembly diagrams.

If Bratton current owners will/can focus on manufacturing and wholesale, they will be a greater asset to the hobby than as a retailer. Many people can inventory and fulfill orders.
The vanishing products are a much bigger crisis to the hobby than retailers. A dozen good retailers can likely satisfy the demand. I’d think filling up boxes off the shelf and sending out the door would be a PIA!

I would guess that half of the parts on my Model A came from Brattons. Sad news.

It's too bad a local model A. club couldn't help out with 1 or 2 hours a day of several members helping them out I realize I still need to find another location but the burden of working all those hours would be lifted with a few extra model A. experts helping out.

I received probably my last shipment from Brattons this week. When I called they were sold out of the two things I really wanted from them, but I did pick up a few more things. Sad to have them go, but fully understandable given the reasons they put forth. All the best to the Kichlines for the future.

This is sad news, especially for a business with such a long and successful history. We wish them a prosperous future and God's blessings.

This announcement spurred me to order a whole bunch of parts I’d been thinking about. Most of the items cost a few dollars less than another big vendor, and the additional 10% discount paid the shipping.
Bratton’s tech articles will be missed.
