Default 59A in '35

I am looking to put a 59A motor into a '35. I have searched around and found some links to parts that are no longer available so I thought I would ask the question anew.

What if anything needs to be done to put a 59A motor into a '35 chassis? I know the upper radiator hoses are going to be routed differently. Is there any difference for clearance at the radiator? I have seen U-shaped motor mounts but it sounded like those were for '34s. Any advice would be appreciated.

I put an 8BA with truck pumps in a '36 30 years ago, which has essentially the same mounting geometry as a 59A. I found that without the spacers, the engine sat too low. Hurst also used to list the spacers for '35-'40, so I believe they are necessary.

The problem is going to be the fan. I cheated and used an electric "pusher" fan. I was never completely satisfied with it and would use a engine-driven fan if I were to do it again. If you search this forum, you will see a thread or two posted by members "V8Coopman" (RIP) and "Heard" who accomplished the task.

I have a 59A in my 35 it was a bolt in but i used the 35 intake manifold to properly support the fan mounted generator, and i used a radiator hose kit from Bob Drake. I will try to take a few photos and post them later.

I have an adapter that bolts to the generator pulley and then accepts a small aluminum fan. As far as I can tell, it is no longer available but could be made from the attached sketches. My engine is a 59A in a '32.
