when i pulled it from the wrecking yard, it was filled with ATF. so volvo specifies type F. also, i see the is a small bolt (plug) on the side. ill fill it till it runs out of there. fill it from the...

i have the same thing goin on. seems like the bearing could slide forward and not be all the way in the race.

ok ive searched, 30 wt oil for the unit. BUT!! how much? dont tell me to the bottom of the fill plug. it is drilled and tapped on the very top of the unit. type j. thanks.

i could use a driveshaft that hat has the bearing/seal surface in good shape. dont care about the rear part, because im gonna whack that off.

it almost looks like the rear end is trying to rotate downward. i wonder if its even worth trying to repair.

im considering the purchase of a '30 coupe. the thing that bothers me is it has a volvo overdrive that has a nasty crack on the output housing. like almost broken. it still works, but is this fixable...

yeah they tried to close it today, i went in anyway. picked up a lightenend flywheel and v8 clutch for $350. even came with a new clutch disk with genuine asbestos. Watched as some japanese dudes...

i work outside long hours. limited internet on weekends. Sometimes i ask about parts and then cant respond for a week or so. some sellers themselves can get rude when they dont get a response quick...

i had the same problem, used some sealer called red-kote. it works so good, you cant buy it in california. i bought 2 quarts and only used 3/4 of one.
