Mine was a simple two way toggal switch from a out let for radio bits we call J car . DPDT 6A 240VAC Heavy Duty Centre Off Standard Toggle Switch
Typically $7.70 , sorry not #500148

I use a switch such as #500148 drilled under the dash ,I have a high stop light /Flasher coupled into the circuit using four 50 cent diodes to stop feedback, four flashers on the bumpers . works...

Yeah Koates your right! WPGR00005 .NLGI l00 is semi fluid for Steering boxes.

Fuel line should be coated steel ,But i use copper ,set the feral /olive on a brass seat such as a Stromberg inlet fitting or the female end of your flex line not in the pump .diaphragm

I did this on a 49er on one side tapped it out to the next size ,locked tight stud with a nut ,cast iron head worked great .

Some times as far as the wood goes canadian products followed the usa version , eg the RHD Canadian seat frame for the 34 Roadster has the reinforcing strut 3/4 towards the left side not supporting...

I would think about running those two on the out side of tube or under with two clips as future maintenance on the distributor its better to have the tube and terminals caps removable ,
