Re: 36 grille needing chromed
I think advance plating is about the highest dollar plater around. Two years ago, I had a 34 grille that was perfect except the 70 year old chrome was dull. No pits anywhere. They wanted $2500.00 to...

Re: 36 ford running boards
Had not purchase 35/36 boards but purchase a pair of 34 boards from Drake and nothing fit. The mounting holes were off so I had to drill new holes in the frame and worst then that, the curve of the...

Re: Ford Flathead Manual Cooling Tip
Can not make out the pictures very well, but if it talks about enlargeing the 2 middle holes, I tried that and I could not tell any difference in the cooling.

Re: When did they make 35/36 running boards
I thought I was clear but guess not. I would like to know about what year were reproduction running boards for the 35/36 first come on the market. Can anybody remember buying them in the 60's, 70's,...

When did they make 35/36 running boards
Does anybody know when they started making running boards for the 35/36 Ford. I know in the early 1980's, the V8 shop (which I think does not exist anymore) were making 33/34 boards because I...

Re: Stitching & sleeving an 8BA- sequence?

Re: Cost of rebuild a flathead
I think a lot of people go overboard when they rebuild a flathead. Since this is not an engine that will see a lot of miles, I usually put in new pistons(if there is a lot of slop) or rings only if...

Re: How do I remove King Pins ???
I've never had any luck with penetrating oil, unless I can get the part to turn a little so the oil will soak in. Heat has always worked for me. Could not complete any project without the torch.
