Default Removing white letters on plug wires

I have a new set of Taylor 8mm spark plug wires and would like to remove the lettering that is on them, what works good to get it off without hurting the surface? Lacquer thinner work?

I have used lacquer thinner on rubbber fuel line to removed the lettering and it worked fine. Should work on plug wires too.

I think I used lacquer thinner on mine. Brake clean should work.
