Default removing windshield glass ?

Any tips on how to remove glass from frame & still keep intact for pattern----35 coupe-----thanks

I did it by applying plenty of dish washing liguid under the outside lip of the rubber gasket rubber while at the same time pushing glass and gasket inward as I slid a bondo spreader betweeen the car body and the gasket.. Dave, I am assuming the screws are out. I had good luck laying a block of wood on the glass then tapping with hammer, working around the frame trying to make even progress. Take your time it should come loose.

My problem was getting the 2 halfs of the windshield frame apart, which I could not. I was going to replace the glass but decided not too. The only way to get the frame apart for me would be to heat the area with a torch, but that would damaged the chrome. I try the block of wood and tapping it with a hammer but no luck.

Try a heat gun instead of a torch.

wont the heat damage the safety glass -blistering the sandwich middle layer
