Appear 2 carbs have no choke shafts or butterflies. You probably know this but it hurts flow.

Correct on loosening the clamp each side on tire rod to set toe. The drag link adjustment is then used to center steering wheel.

Or you could put a hose on over flow and then place the other end of hose in a container ( I use a soda bottle on my 36) that is stashed somewhere inconspicuous.

Not sure how you use a borescope to find TDC. You cannot accurately determine TDC visually. Only “positive stop” or degree wheel and dial indicator.

I use fog lights for front also with relays as they pull a good few amps. The rear tie into the brake light system it’s the easy part.

Rods are probably numbered 1-4 R. A 1-4 L. Is pretty much standard for the flathead rod numbering. Ones to outside.

The B6ES-11 is a wide gap specific plug. I believe you need the B6ES. These are are STD.NON-RESISTOR Plugs per the NGK catalog.

I try to always have .100”. No matter what year block. Sonic checking is just a good guideline. It too can fail you.
