Thanks for help in restored 35 switch
Thanks fordbarns for helping me in restoring my 35 ford ignition switch. Could not have done it without your help, esp fordflatman and john for providing instructions.

Who makes the round chrome button for 35 ignition
On the ignition switch for a 35/36 car, there is a chrome button about 3/4" diameter that goes in and out when you turn the key on or off. It's pressed on the end of the ignition shaft. Does anyone...

I've just finished installing the fuzz channels in my 35 coupe and there was no way I could of done it without removing the glass. And once you get the hang of it, removing the glass is no big deal....

My 35, I accidentally left the ignition switch on when the engine was not running. Luckily I was still out in the garage and smell something burning. It was the resistor. They must get a lot hotter...

Painting the 35 waterfall
I had the waterfall plated in my 35, now for the hard part. How do I paint the area between the plated ribs. I can mask off the ribs, then spray but that will be a lot of work. There has to be any...

Why is a person required to sign in just to view pictures. You do not have to sign in to read the questions and comments. Why can't anybody, member or not, see them. Just curious.

Mine was missing one and I just got a flat washer and with a ball point hammer, hammer it into the shape the others were. Purchased a spring at the hardware store and it work great.

Thanks everyone for your help. I got the wheel off. I took one of you guys advice and with my knees pushing against the back of the wheel, tap the nut with a hammer and it poped off. thanks again.

Getting in touch with Skip
Anyone know a good time to call Skip(the fellow in florida that rebuilts water pumps). I've tried several times. He's harder to get in tough with then ebay. And that's saying a lot.

I had a sheet metal shop make a "U" shape plate with a bent flange on each side which fit inside the original opening. The plate lower the battery 1/2" which gave it enough room under the floor board.

I do not quite understand what you are saying. Are you saying that a spacer will have to go between the column and the dash to make up the difference in height and what is the locking collar....
