Default Thanks for help in restored 35 switch

Thanks fordbarns for helping me in restoring my 35 ford ignition switch. Could not have done it without your help, esp fordflatman and john for providing instructions.

Looks like you did a nice job. Now you will be known as one of the pros here on Ford Barn for restoring '35 steering drops

How did you restore the toggle switch? are they still available?? mine has no finish on it and looks like it's plastic of some sort??

Thanks

No one is reproducing the toggle switch. They are made out of pot metal or some material similar to that. I was lucky that mine was in very good condition and only needed polishing. The chrome button is being reproduced. Roy Nacewicz has them. I talked to him last week when I thought the chrome shop had lost mine. (They had found it since). He said he has 2 and they are made out of stainless steel, $20.00 each.
