If he "drops" the rear end, the U-joint is acessable WITHOUT removing the transmission. Lot less work IMO.

Now that you've clarified what you want to do, I don't think you're going to find anything to fit your needs.
Even stock 19" wheels with Firestone's usually have to be put in the wells UN-inflated....

I just had my 40 rewired (Brig's Rod Shop, Wolcott, CT, GREAT folks).
He wired up my 12V tach to the 6V and it works but registers 1/2peed. Great because it's more for looks than practicality. Used...

I believe my Model A had Westcott's. Can't tell you how many "old timers" would come up and knock on them and say "They don't make them like this anymore.
