Tubman, I thought that too. It's an Ilco 1125K key. I have seen those blanks used as a replacement for the earlier cars.

I have seen that type of lock on closed cars too. I'm not sure why you would want to lock the spare tire that is locked in your trunk, but I have seen it.

This vacuum plate spacer was under the 8BA carburetor that came with the engine. It has the normal 59 A-B intake with the silencer so it wouldn't be needed. Anyone have any idea what it came from? I know I've seen them before. |

Those are installed to allow for an aftermarket vacuum accessory, typically a South Wind gasoline heater.
