Aftermarket Ford brake floaters have been around since before most of us have been on this earth. The success or failure of these time honored products is always dependent on the correct installation of all components. No indictment of those who've not had success, we all learn from our mistakes.

If your drums and shoes are worn you can get this issue ,pack up the slots in the top end of the shoe adjuster links with a rivet or a one inch length of 4 " nail ,bend the end to right angle , Or fit 1/4 "linnings .

Re: Ted’s brake floaters Unless they have improved them a lot in the last 15 years, I was not impressed with the kit. I don't see any Emails from you regarding your comment, |

I'll give that a try. Linings on the rears look to be about half worn based on the rivet recesses. Drums are 12.00" ID all around so it's likely not that as the fronts with new linings Adjusted nicely.
