Re: What would cause my right front to be lower?
Nah, it just looks that way because his spare tire is out of balance. 🤪

Could be the picture. I run toe out. But not duck foot. doesn't really help his issue though. maybe something to look at.

Re: What would cause my right front to be lower?
check for a cracked leaf in the front spring.
Look at the spring center bolt it has a square head that fits into a square hole in the front crossmember Do look at the spring shackles to make sure the spring eye is under the front radius rod and one side has not flipped over. |

Nice truck! Leaning or not! Most 80 year olds lean a little too. Just saying. ...
Have fun with it! Regards, Chirs

Re: What would cause my right front to be lower?
I’ll get under it in the next day or so and see if I see anything that doesn’t look right. I had the steering box rebuilt a while back and had the alignment checked. Everything was good. Alignment and all suspension, per the front end guy, checked good. Thanks for the suggestions….

Re: What would cause my right front to be lower?
Could be the bottom spring leaf is broken on that side. That’s why the second leaf wraps the bottom leaf eye.

Re: What would cause my right front to be lower?
Could the shocks be causing it to have a tilt?
My bet is that it needs a new spring. Last edited by 19Fordy; 08-24-2022 at 09:19 AM. |

Re: What would cause my right front to be lower?
In my case earlier this year I was noticing that my '34 roadster was leaning some on the drivers side. I assumed that it was due to my weight and that the car was sometimes driven with no passenger. One day I decided to take a drive and noticed that it dropped much further. The main spring had broken about 3 inches from the spring eye. I bought and installed an NOS spring from the place in Minnesota and now it sits level.
