Yours has an even rhythm or regular repeated pattern of sound. That indicates fairly even compression from one cylinder to the next, which is a good sign. However, yours also sounds like the starter is spinning the engine over a little fast (just a little not much) in my opinion which can indicate lower compression in all cylinders, like a worn engine with a lot miles, as the engine has less compression and is easier to turn over. Plus the fact that you said the engine was warm adds to the accuracy of my opinion. Could still be a good runner though.
Thanks! One thing I did is put a new ground wire from the frame to engine block and after that it cranked way faster!

Agree 100%, especially with these old cars. Listening to the whine of vintage machinery is part of the attraction of these cars IMO - I'd rather listen to that than a symphony orchestra.

My father in law bought it in Canada back in the late 50's from an old girlfriend and has had it in Michigan ever since.
It was sitting in his enclosed barn for over 30 years with flat tires til I saw it about 6 years ago then I had to buy a house with a garage so I had a place to put it when I brought it here to Florida.
So I've had it for almost 2 years now.

You’re welcome but according to your comment I’m not quite sure that you understand. Even if you had not improved the ground with a new wire, there would still be an audible difference in the rhythm of the sound made by the starter if there was a significant problem with any of the cylinders. The only difference is the overall speed would be slower. As it is now, you have probably established the best ground possible but the overall speed is still slightly faster, in my opinion, than what it would be if the compression were improved as is evident with a Model A engine with less wear on the rings and cylinder walls.

You might want to go over the original ground connection at the frame... remove the bolt and clean the frame and cable / hardware... make sure the car has the right cables installed and not modern smaller copper batt wires... the model A as built with good connections does not need any extra grounds... most likely you are compensating for another deficiency...

I am going down my list checking everything as I have time but I haven't gotten that far yet.
Someone suggested to add a hidden ground wire just to be on the safe side.

Many many do it,,,,, but it should crank the same as originally built... none of the cars i own or work on for others have that.
My point is make sure your basic system is right before you compensate

Nothing wrong with an extra wire if it makes him feel better in my opinion. The Model A as originally built came with engine pans that provided much of the ground. Most of the time they were removed and never put back.

I didn't say you did.
Maybe I should have said that I've seen many people run an extra ground wire for the last 40 years, and I have. The original set up with engine pans provides a shorter path back to the battery. Otherwise, the majority may have to travel back through the drivetrain to the rear end and up through the spring and on through the frame to get back to the ground cable.

And then we have the ground path from the fuel line
