I have used Uhaul quite a bit and like it. But I have had a couple of problems. I find that they do not like to rent if the car you are hauling is not on their list. In that case I put in a VW but I suppose that voids any insurance if there is a crash. The other problem I had was with the brakes. The master cylinder was froze up so there were no brakes. I told the agent about it when I dropped it off but he said they don't fix anything. He was just a hardware store. I guess some of the smaller dealers are more risky to rent from and are just jockeys rather than Uhaul reps.
