Your photo of your set up pressing out the stud looks wrong to me.
It looks like you are only supporting the outer edges of your brake drum. You must have a support around the immediate surrounding area of the stud head. Maybe you do and it's just not clear in the photo to me. If it's not supported correctly you will bent the hub at the very least if not crack/break it.
