15 years out of a 6volt Optima. Why would you want anything else?? I don’t believe there is a 6 volt that has 800cca other than Optima. I have one that is 18 years old. The only choice for me.

Howes Penetrant is way above the the 50/50 mix and all your parts house penetrants.

That’s what I use. I had him cut out around valves so I can use to pressure test also. A great guy to deal with as far as I’m concerned.

That’s on the transmission. That number would have originally matched the chassis number. But it is not an engine number unfortunately.

I don’t know what the “brake board” is but I disconnect rods adjust each wheel so they barely drag. Then be sure the rods are straight and the anti rattle brackets are not pushing on rods at all now...

The 3 finger B&B is about as basic and reliable as can be. Possibly you have other issues and the diaphragm clutch may also be a problem.

One hub has the bearing in it but not seal or snap ring the other hub has no bearing seal or snap ring it appears in your pics.

Yes you could “corncrib” these what hove you got to loose??? How about your life or somebody else’s!!! This nut holds the whole hub and wheel on should it fail there’s a good chance your wheels...

3 window 5 window coupes and 2&4 door sedans all use the same windshield. Unfortunately they rust from the inside out.
