Having my brakes done and my mechanic says there is a spacer on the rear that is missing. it was on the left side but not the right. I don't see any reference in the parts diagrams of any such spacer. Or he said to get a good hub/drum combo. Would anyone know the part number for the spacer. Where would be the best place to get either.

In 36 there were two different bearing used in production, with two different drums. One is 3 3/16" OD, B-1225A and the other 2 13/16" OD, 68-1225A The smaller bearing hub uses a hardened, ground sleeve Part number 68-1236. If the drum hub originally had the sleeve and it was removed the larger bearing should not be used since that hub does not have a hard surface for the bearing. From your photo it appears you should have the hardened sleeve and be using the smaller bearing as in your first photo on the left. The photo on the right shows the hub without the hard sleeve 68-1236.
