HATS OFF to Joe's Electric, Middletown, CT

About 3 years ago I had gen problems on my 40. Joe's repaired it (armature I believe),. Again this month, no Charge,
He was able to warranty it,
Great shop ! !

I've got "peep: mirrors on both doors and can see fine from both. Mirrors are probably from the 50's.

6 volt alt

Looking for a 6 volt alternator for a 42-48 block. Either a plain nalt or one that looks like a generator.

I had a new wiring harness installed a few years ago. If I remember correctly the wires to the stop light switch are held by screws. The replacement I got from C&G has push on terminals. I'm 78+ and...

The regulator should be adjustable. Find a local rebuilder and take gen and reg to them.

I had a similar problem. The battery cables at the ends had become corroded (hidden by black elec tape by previous owner). Physically ck them out.

I painted a 29 sport coupe back in the 50's (I was 13) with Rustoleum with a brush. No streaks. I've also used an Electrolux vac cleaner to spray red oxide primer.
