To get some more head room you could remove SOME air from the tires just not all.

Go to any auto parts store & buy a can of RESTORE it won't fix your engine but will help enough to get you thru the inspection. It does work.

Who makes the best aluminum head for 24 stud engine with a .040 bore & high lift cam Int. .373 & Exh. .361. I have talked to Offenhauser & Edelbrock & both say their heads will work.

If by chance you are not using your clutch pedal for a foot rest? Also I would think if you had oil or grease on the clutch you would have a clutch chatter.

What are the brgs & their #s. I believe the ID of the brg should be 17mm.I'm not sure about the OD on your A flywheel.

According to the spec sheet on my L-100 the intake lift is .373 & the exhaust is .361 .
I have not checked or installed the stock heads yet. They have been surfaced .010. Can't wait to see what will...
