my 59 AB when I put 4 qts stick reads full. another qt reads over full mark. (no filter) I go around the block now it reads full. engine has only 10,000 miles . no sluge it was thermo baked came...

I have never a problem using a floor jack, raising the car to the point of no weight on
the axle wheels off the ground and bang the shackle out you may have to jack axle up or down for the correct...

I would find some poster board at some office supply co.; cause it needs to be stiff and bring tempate and your new glass to the glass man. I forget if 1/4 or 3/8 GAP must be held for the rubber, ...

I use to do it all, but when I grew up, my oldest does it all & the rebuilds & fab call it Job shop I stick to the machine shop I dont get dirty no more my youngest is the man for all this injection...

Last time tested I took vacuum from the wiper port that was Effie I now have the proper installation kit under the carb. started engine pulled the knob out and as advertised about 90 secants it...

I too had one in VW bus no way to get heat with out it. The reason why i posted this is because my 46 i use every day has a sever carb icing problem. So I think the vacuum line sucks burner heat...

Well its that time of the year here winter is like 8 months of it. the only wheels I drive is a 46 super deluxe. We rebuilt the engine 10 yrs ago and never used the choke no matter how cold it gets....

That tough bolt I always get a good fit socket / ratchet with the other bolts removed put some pressure on the ratchet and hit the pump with a dead blow toward the block "counter clock wise" always...

I agree with Ken = Powermaster for my 46 puts out 6.1 amps and less under load. I called them and said it may have defective regulator should I replace it. I already can tell the tone of his voice...
