Last time tested I took vacuum from the wiper port that was Effie I now have the proper installation kit under the carb. started engine pulled the knob out and as advertised about 90 secants it started, fan turned on and its blowing just a whisker at 200 degrees Wow. I have not drilled the two firewall holes yet cause my wrist & drill dont get along, my son will do it. I want this next to the 3 door heater. I don't think gas mileage will suffer too much & I don't care the big thing is the vacuum line to Carb. gets hot THAT should stop the nasty carb. ice problem I have Me Happy

Ford put exhaust gas passage through the intake manifold and around the base of the Carburetor to stop icing. If there is icing open these passages ways, they usually get blocked up. The South Wind fan should move a lot of air.
