Re: Are tubes needed on 16” radial tires

If you haven't already bought the Cokers, I would recommend you don't. I bought 4 of the Coker Classic 600-16 radial tires years ago and they are horribly out of round and have lots of tread runout....

Re: First time poster... with a couple of questions.

I second the recommendation to send the distributor off to have Micheal at Third Gen ford parts to rebuild it. Also have Skip Haney rebuild your coil. I would not change over to the efire system. I...

Re: New Brake Master Cylinder Leak

I had the same issue with a new master cylinder a couple years ago that I purchased from Dennis Carpenter. Leaked in the exact same spot. I tried multiple times with different washers without...

Re: 1937 Coupe Firewall Insulator

My firewall insulator from Joe's arrived today, looks good. Took about two weeks for production and delivery. Not crazy about the look of the foil backing showing through in places, but I'll get it...

Re: New Rookie Question about Removing 32 Engine

As others said, it is best to have an engine load leveler. As you can see, you really need to get a good upward angle as you come out. (This was on my 37 coupe) I pulled the engine and trans...

Re: 36' Headlight Reflector Size

Here is a picture of the 1936 headlight assembly from the Ford Chassis parts book. Perhaps there is a part number stamped on your reflector 48-13028 so you can verify it is the correct one. The clip...

Re: 1938 ford coupe

I just removed the lower cushion from my 37. The 38 might be similar. Raise the seat back and lock in place. Remove the four seat track bolts to the floor pan. There are also four bolts that connect...

Ggmac, I appreciate your feedback and will do that. I assume that these plugs go through to the engine water jackets. I'd guess these, like all freeze plugs are susceptible to rust. I had the water...

Re: Clutch Release Shaft Bushing tool

I purchase one of these drivers a while back from Third Gen. Here are the dimensions of the driver as well as the bushing. Maybe you can find a driver local that would work. Hope this helps.

Re: 37 Deluxe Coupe with a 11" clutch?

Terry, I appreciate your question and checked the transmission bell housing and find no witness marks where it could have been rubbing. I had no unusual noise in the driveline in the 4 years I have...
