You can get the exact tube size through McMaster-Carr. I did so many of these I had purchased a 3' piece.

The end at the carburetor I had slipped the "ball and spring" over the wire and soldered a "cup" at the end of the wire. Used a ball end mill to shape it nicely. Worked quite well and smoothly.

Newc, what you have is the early style. No doubt, you knew that.
I too had that style on the wagon I'd restored. I rebuilt what I had. Easy enough.
I bought the choke cable at the local tractor...

Typically, a raised letter, numeral, etc. signifies (IE) the manufacturer, date, mold ID. My guess in this case is this was produced outside of the Ford Motor CO. as a service replacement part....

Hello men!

Might seem simple to you but I'm kinda a newbie to the Model a world so here goes...
The piece on the end of the horn rod (picture attached) ... gets installed at the 3 and 9 o'clock...

Yep. They will work but you will need to grind down the diameter a bit. As is, they will not fit the connector.

The reproductions have a sorted history of poor quality. The cages were not (are not?) hardened properly and rather quickly, the cage would fail and the bearings were free to go where they wanted....

I tend to align doors without the dovetail in place. I don't want to rely on the dovetail moving the door into position.
