Default Is this the correct jack for a Model A...?

I tried to "Google image" search, results were questionable. Seems to be in good shape, just want to make sure it's the correct one.

Judging Standards is where you want to go. There are specific "markings" and other details which will indicate if you have the "correct" jack.

Mine, for my March 29 truck would be similar if it's not the flip-top, - but buying what appeared to be THE JACK at the Epping Antique Auto Flea Market ($4) I brought it home to examine it against the standards - and found it to be just "a jack." By the correct manufacturer certainly, but aimed at another model of car.

Functionally, it's a jack. And fits the spot where it rides behind the driver's seat. And for me (I'll never be judged) it will do.

Thanks Joe! That works for me! I'm not concerned about judging either. I got into the Model A virus for the people and fun. Although with that said, I "kinda" want to keep things "sorta stock appearing" but within reason and practical functionality, reliability, and safety.

1953M100, Please make sure the jack is safe before using it. Some of the old jacks will slip out of engagement. If you put it in your car, carry a short length of 2X4, or two 2X4's to put underneath it to raise the height in case the place where you have to change the tire is not level. As for me, I bought a small bottle jack to use.

I got a small floor jack from Harbor Fright and it's been great.

I always carry a piece of 2X4 or 2X6 in case of needing to jack on soft ground where the jack will sink into the ground.
