Ford46 Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southeastern, MA Posts: 441	49 Ford F-1 PU Fuel Gauge Question 1949 Ford F-1 PU Replaced fuel gauge and sending unit with new Bob Drake units. Note: The gauge cluster and tank are grounded. After replacement of both gauge did not work at all. Removed Drake unit and reinstalled original sending unit - gauge works, however, pulsates/fluctuates between Full and Half Tank reading I'm posting for a friend and he is seeking any assistance or thoughts on this matter.
