Default Seperating 1936 flathead engine and transmission

Hi,

I'm going to remove a 1936 flathead engine from the car and seperate from the transmission. Is there anything special to do or be careful about concerning the throw out, clutch, or clutch basket ? Removing the engine for rebuild. I've done this in late model cars a few times but never an early V8 so just checking before I create a mini disaster, thanks.
