wondering if anyone has photos or set of instructions to fit these made by Fairlane company Fiberglass reproductions from St Johns Mich with the name of

Now I am getting confused; I thought "wheel covers" were those fancy "hubcaps" that snapped into the wheel rim and covered the entire inside of the wheel.

In my part of the world, the Western US, 'Spats' were a white metal cover that attached to the wheel, extending from the rim edge to a mid point on the wheel. They were commonly used during the mid '40's through the mid '50' in lieu of white side walls. I have a nice set of four, 16".
I have a pix in my file, for some unknown reason it would not down load.

Interesting. What does the front screw attach to? I had a Foxcraft (I think) come off in traffic and had to rework the front mounts.
My front mounts are now like the back ones, but there is not a lot of room there, so enquiring minds need to know my options.... |
