Default rear drum bearing

I read a while ago that guys were reusing their old bearing because the repops where not holding up. Does anyone know if the usual venders have fixed and replaced their stock? Is this bearing pictured an original? How does one tell? My bearings look ok, but the cage is all scuffed up. Should I just replace it with a new one?

Thanks,
Zack
