Another diff question

Hey guys, still working on this diff, just cleaning things up and getting ready for reassembly. I picked up another diff last week and broke it down for the axels and parts. Just noticed these cracks, is this common on these ol girls?? The second diff I have had the same cracks, just on the thin side of the banjo also. Is this something to worry about, I can't find any other cracks in the housing. More opinions from wise sages would be greatly appreciated
