Default 48 coupe- fuel tank filler pipe hose installation question

What is the best way to install the fuel pipe coupling hose?

The fit of the new hose is tight and I assume hot air to heat it might help getting it on, but what is the best sequence to use?

The new tank is in the car but I can remove it.

Should I grease the inside of the hose?

Does the hose go on the tank first or should I assemble it to the filler pipe first and then make it up to the tank?

Thanks
