Smile Why I have a Model A

My two grand daughters (5 & 7) came to visit for a week. In that week, I burned about 10 gallons of gas in my '39 John Deere B pulling them around our development and to the swimming pool in a flat bottom boat on my utility trailer. I was going to put hay in the trailer but they love the "boat ride" so much, I think I'll leave it that way. I took them for ice cream and several rides in the Model A and they LOVED blowing the horn and waving at people.

If I ever wondered why I own and love the old stuff so much, I was reminded in the last week. Take a kid for a ride in your Model A (or on your John Deere) and you'll be creating a memory that will last a lifetime. I know it did for me...... many years ago.
