First I was wondering if Briggs and Murray used any glue in the wood joints, and then I got to wondering if any glue was used in the Model A?
The sound deadening pads in my 29 Tudor were glued in place, but I can't think of any other place in the Model A's where glue was used. ![]() |

In the bodies of the Fordors, there was quite a bit of wood. Know when reproducing the arm rests in the rear, seat frames and some of the other parts, these items were laminated in some cases, then mortise and tenon joints .

Isn't the floor board plywood? There's glue to bond the ply.
