Are the rear axles of all the Model As the same dimensions and can I use a B rear end and up to what year?

The spring on the B rear end mounts behind the axle. Just get the right gears for the A rear end. As noted in the previous the 1932 (except very late) gears are the same as a Model A and can be used.
