Distributor points quality ?

I polish the cams on mine, and remeasure the lobes to make sure they weren't damaged by the polishing.

After doing so, put in a new set of points, and the rub block has still not worn at all. Supposedly, after installing new points, you have to readjust around the 500 mile mark. Passed that over 1,000 miles ago and points are still exactly .020 and have never been readjusted, not once.

Polish those cams!
