Whenever I see posts like this it reminds me of Walt DuPont's story about his long-ago stock car bud that heated his heads in a coal fire, drug them out then melted two lengths of brazing rod into the combustion chamber pockets for higher compression. I figure if you could drill small diameter holes at critical angles and locations for anchor points in the iron to hold a big slab of brass, this could actually work. Higher CR on the cheap. Sounds like a good enterprise if someone would be up for it. I know I'm going to try it with a set of low compression 99T heads. Not soon, but I'll report how it works out.
