Hi tbauer : I use an old J. H. Williams adjustable hook spanner # 471, 3/4" - 2".

Mc Master Carr list one as part # 5471A11 in my old catalog. You can try online for a current price.

I have attached a picture. Most V8 60 HP pumps are/were removed or tightened by using a punch and hammer so the notches may be not as sharp to catch the spanner. Lots of soaking and patients will go along way. There are two styles, tapered and straight. The newer kits should cover both. The pulleys tend to break. Once apart square up the notches.
