With my 35, I did something similar to what rich B posted above...in my case I went to the local wrecking yard and got the 'flap', located inside the filler neck of some jap car, trimmed it to suit, and welded it into the filler neck of the Ford. Easily done without blowing yourself up on account ot the filler neck being removeable.
