The '35 engine is not correct for your '38 car. The water pumps and heads are entirely different. Also the '35 engine will have babbitt rod and main bearings. You need to find a '37-'48 engine. They will have insert main and rod bearings. The '42-'48 engines have more displacement and a little more power. All of those are a direct placement into your 1938 Ford. |
