Please vet the shop you choose carefully. I had not so good experiences with two different shops. Talk to other old car guys in your area and see who they use. I wasted almost two years trying to get an engine block ready to build. Finally went to swap meet and talked to some old car guys, one was a Studebaker collector. Turned out I had a high quality shop not twenty minutes away hidden at the end of a gravel road. He fixed the messes the other shops had made and would actually answer my calls.
