I find that the connections through the plastic blocks to the headlight wiring are a poor setup at best. I suggest cutting the ends of the wiring harness off as well as the headlight pigtails and wiring them direct with the crimp on pull apart connectors. You will have to remove the resin board in the pigtail part that snaps into the bucket to get the wires through, but you will never have the contacts shorting or the poor connection that the original setup can cause.
