Actually, the jump was just the last straw in breaking the axle. The fracture showed that it had been cracked for some time, which happens from insufficient torque on the axle nut.

Ah ok , well I will have mine apart and I will inspect closely and make sure my torques are proper on reassembly . Thanks !!
