Not sure what magazine, but as you can imagine, not many remain, I know there is one at the Lane Museum and one sold at the Mecum auction of antique motorcycles in 2022.

Tom, I tracked down your post from February, your '37 is a beauty-definitely my favorite 30's flathead sedan model. GB, your contraption looks positively lethal-I understand your wife's hesitation!

Yes,Ray and others, the one and the same. I took it to the only car show I've ever entered , which was on a neighboring island, and displayed it in the back of the woodie. With the rear 'school bus' seat removed, the front wheel squeezes tightly between the V-dub bucket seats and the stand keeps it stable. With the rear barn doors wide open, the pair were quite a crowd pleaser. I have some short videos of it running, send a pm with email and I'll send one. That mecum motorcycle auction was 2019, and the aerothrust bike brought what might be good '32 ford roadster money, but I intend to keep it. It's a lot more rare and easier to store

Thanks Adam,my '37 is pretty special. thank you for complement. as you may have seen older gentleman,before me purchased owned it since 1956 and was brought to classic car dealer in davenport Ia. where i traded. so i dont believe it ever sat out in a field,because underbelley just surface rust.original headliner has no holes,water spots,rodent nests wiring in good shape. after about 2 yrs. into my owneship there started to be a slow leak in none tube. 11 yr old plain bias ply. Iv'e since installed modern tubeless black walls,repainted wheels,and kept original hub caps which look prety good from 6ft. i will repaint the black portion some day. Tom.

Guys,
This thread has gone just slightly off track! Having Norman Rockwell paint a picture of John and I in Big Irene's diner, getting our teeth glued on with Elmers glue. Yep Elmers was recommended when I googled it for a loose crown. I must say I also looked at the mini torque wrenches which you can get a complete set for about $60.
They would fit perfectly in my new tool box too!




That miniature tool box is cute as a button!

We made our own denture glue with flour & water in Mrs Farrel's kindergarten class. Sometimes we threw in shredded Democrat & Chronicle newspaper for extra holding power.
