Alternate bolt set for 1940 cab mounting?

Hi guys I know the bolt kit that was being made is now not available. What have you guys used as an alternative? I like the springs under the frame but I have no idea where you can find those springs.

You can use coach bolts, shorten or re-thread as necessary. use valve springs and shorten them to suit. Hope this helps.

It does. When you refer to coach bolts is that the same as carriage bolts?

I'd suggest McMaster-Carr.
Springs? Die springs are available in a zillion different diameters and lengths.

I would advise against using carriage bolts as the heads would protrude from the bed floor. Instead, I'd use flat head bolts just as Ford did.
Also available in a zillion sizes and lengths.

McMaster is reasonably priced and ships the same day.

As far as the bed I used a Horkey wood conversion so I am set there. I was asking about the special bolts/springs that attach the cab to the frame.

I realize what springs you are seeking. My response remains the same... McMaster-Carr, die springs.
