Most likely you will need to remove the hinge and slot the hole in the cowl as well as the two small holes in the hinge.
You may already have figured out the geometry of these hinges but just in case... rotating the hinge upwards, will bring the hood down. Rotate it down? The hood will move up.
That is what I was thinking, is the side at 1/4” ok or should that go back some too? I should mention these are repro hinges (drake) and can I take one off a a time or does the hood have to come off?
