Either a possible alternative or they are also Vintique made and a bigger ripoff than C&G.

Personally I have had great service from C&G.

Most likely reality is Vintique, Speedway, (and Drake second edition) are all buying from the same source in Taiwan, or the engineering was sold under the table, again in Taiwan.
