I may be the poster boy of this type of thing. Did the headlight wiring today on the 1942 Ford coupe project. The NOS dimmer switch was one of 6 I bought off Ebay years ago. I think the bid started at $6 so I couldn't leave them there for that. I used my last NOS light switch on my 48 coupe and really could use one on the 42 so I see a light switch mission coming on. I stored a 66 Mustang bench seat, carpet, and bumpers for a friend in the service. Ended up with the car to go with it so that's happened to me too.

After 40+ years in the Hot Rod chassis business I have a storage building full of left over chassis parts and just parts. I'd love to find someone to load it all up, give a reasonable agreed on price and make some money. I'm to old to spend my time loading and unloading this stuff at swap meets. It'll probably end up being hauled away for scrap when I take my last trip?

I have used the drive shaft clam shells as steering wheel puller.

What once seemed like unobtainium can soon morph into an embarrassingly large stash of a certain part. it's like a disease!
