1928 Ford Model A Tutor, car runs fine but headlights, turn signal, stop lights, break lights, and parking lights all out, I found a wire that looks like it should be connected somewhere but not sure where, or what the wire is used for, it’s part of the electrical harness https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EJX...w?usp=drivesdk

Connect that wire along with the other yellow wire at the generator cut off. It is the wire that powers everything but the running of the engine.

I guess the only concern would be if the wire was removed for some reason, like a short somewhere.

Yes, there is another reason. It was time to rebuild the generator and this wire was in my way, so I disconnected this wire from the cutout and tucked it under the frame rail (out of sight). After rebuilding the generator, I set off for a short tour and found nothing worked, just like James experienced. It took some time to wake up and go looking for that wire to fix the problem. Ed
